Clutch Purse 'Coloring Out Side the Lines'

Clutch Purse: 11 inches wide, 7 inches hign, Free form knitted and crocheted with Novelty yarns, from "Gove City Yarns" Gove, Kansas USA

Charlie says: "One of six I have completed using both knitting and crochet. I like this medium because as an artist I can "color outside the lines", I like the creative aspect of this method when working with fibers. I like to express myself beyond what a pattern calls for. Beside the knitting and crochet I am a spinner and also dye fibers. My other areas of art include: painting, oil and watercolor, handmade paper, calligraphy, faux finishing, murals, book binding and photography. I grow and work with gourds as a medium for carving, painting, etc. In the past I worked with porcelain and ceramic. The day is not long enough to do it all, but I am always looking for new trails to explore in the creative field."
